The house was built in 1989, in the nucleus of Escalona (Puértolas Valley) Sobrarbe, gateway to the National Park of Ordesa and Monte Perdido.
It has accommodation and half a board under request, located at the entrance of Escalona with the two rivers Bellos and Cinca to the vicinity of the house.
It consists of 3 floors, in dining and living room entrance and, 1st and 2nd floor rooms.
In Fonda Naval we offer “Baths of Forest” which can be hired directly with the owner, since we guide themt (Yolanda Fernández, a Certified Guide by the Universitat de Girona and Asociación Selvans).
The rooms consist of full bathroom, heating, TV.
Guests have a Lounge-Dining Room Restaurant (Breakfast and Dinner on request).
The Hall has children’s games, a bookshop and information about the area (maps, magazines, etc).
In the age of the entrance (Private) to the house customers can go out to rest and there is no danger for children’s games.
WiFi all over the house.
Prior booking prepare Pic-nics for excursions.

Surroundings
Fonda Naval is located at the entrance to the Ordesa y Monteperdido National Park. The entrances near the house are; Canyon of Añisclo (the entrance is in the same town of Escalona), Gorges of Escuain and Valley of Pineta.
A few kilometers away is the Chistau Valley with beautiful mountain villages and beautiful landscapes, perfect for hiking along them.
The medieval village of Ainsa 9 Km from our house, Boltaña with its wonderful castle and its Gorgas to bathe in summer.

Apart from the collaboration with the Geopark of Sobrarbe, Fonda Naval is collaborator with the Association Selvans, which is dedicated to the conservation of the most singular and of higher natural value Forest heritage, which we could consider as “ancient nucleus” of the forests, and the protection of the same ones so that there is not cut down of the mature trees, converting these forests in circuit of therapeutic forests, for the realization of the “Forest Baths”at the moment we are carrying out the work of protection in the forest of “El Cornato” of the Valley of Pineta (Bielsa, Sobrarbe) where Fonda Naval performs the Forest Bath, and also preparing the search for other circuits in the Sobrarbe region, for its protection and development of the forest as a therapeutic forest.
Other good practices developed by Fonda Naval would be the recycling of materials for the decoration of the rooms and other spaces of the house, visible for the customers, in our Restaurant the kitchen is 100% home cooking, we make the jams, desserts, pastries and in the menu of the house we enhance the traditional recipes of our Region ,the products that are used are all from the Region (Meats, cheeses, yoghurts, sausages, bread, etc… increasing the consumption to the customers and explaining their provenance, the vegetables are from the organic garden of Morillo de Tou.
Of course the recycling of all the waste that can be in the kitchen and in the rest of the house, being part of our daily life
