Mendi Alaia is a spacious, new-build house located in the stunning natural environment of the Karrantza Valley, where you can enjoy all the latest comforts.

You can walk along the countless hiking trails around us and visit one of the most important beech forests in the Iberian Peninsula. You can also enjoy the beautiful sight of nature in its purest state in the valley and magnificent views of the Karrantza Valley and our gardens by bike or on horseback.

Mendi Alai rural guest house is strongly committed to the conservation of biodiversity and local development through actions such as:

We don’t use any pesticides or herbicides in our garden or in our vegetable garden. We’re an organic farm and use our own produce to prepare the dishes in our restaurant. The compost we use comes from our own animals (horses and chickens), which in turn feed on organic products that we plant with our own seeds. As a result, we can guarantee that everything we produce is self-sufficient and organic.
We promote and sell products from local artisans and producers and use them in our kitchen and day-to-day lives. We offer several packs with information about shepherding and medicinal plants, as well as environmental awareness activities
