The best way to discover a territory is through its history and its landscapes by walking the old trails. We’ll follow the Annia trail, the best preserved roman road in all the Iberian Peninsula, and the medieval trails that still link villages. These historic paths will guide us to dreamed places.

Detailed Itinerary:
1st day – Arrival at Ribes de Freser. Accommodation and dinner at a contemporary charming hotel.
2nd day – Walk up from Ribes de Freser to Vall de Núria on the ‘rack and pinion’ railway. Once in Núria, at 2000m altitude, we’ll go on an excursion to Puigmal: the most emblematic summit of the region. A shorter alternative would be to walk to: Núria Sanctuary, Pic de l’Àliga view point… and enjoy the audiovisuals of the complex.
3rd day – Transfer to Sant Pau de Segúries village. From here, we’ll follow the best preserved part of the Annia trail. Our accommodation will be in a small hotel in a rural area, with all the amenities, in the wonderful Bianya Valley, with local products for dinner.
4th day – Following the old trail that linked the Bianya region with the Besalú county we’ll get to the town of Olot. We’ll climb up Montsacopa volcano. The accommodation is in a small charming hotel, in a Natural Conservation Area and near the town center. Dinner is based on ‘Cuina Volcànica’ (Volcanic cuisine).
5th day – Walking from our hotel, we’ll follow a stone made trail that brings us to the heart of La Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park: amazing volcanoes, unique sites like D’en Jordà beech forest and modern landscapes like the Moixina wetlands. ‘Cuina Volcànica’ (Volcanic cuisine) will be served for dinner in the town of Olot.
6th day – Transfer to Hostalets d’en Bas village. We’ll walk the royal trail that for many centuries linked the towns of Olot and Vic. We’ll stay in a charming cottage at la Vall d’en Bas. Homemade dinner with local products.
7th day – Transfer to Coll d’Úria. We’ll walk through amazing beech forests until we get to Mare de Deú de la Salut Sanctuary, where we’ll enjoy wonderful views of the landscape. Later on we’ll walk down to Sant Feliu de Pallerols village, where we can visit a medieval village and following the Green way we’ll get to our accommodation. We’ll stay and have dinner in a charming cottage that offers exquisite local cuisine with hints of other regions.
8th day – Transfer to Barcelona. Leisure day.
9th day – Leisure day in Barcelona.
10th day – Transfer to Barcelona airport.
